We are currently seeking a ProcurementBuyer II to join our team in our Prague officereporting to the Procurement Buying Manager.
This role offers the opportunityfor hybrid working model of 3x on-site, 2x full remote.
In this position, you will support theefficient operation of the purchasing team, developing relationships withsuppliers, ensuring the material according to production plan at the best priceand on time. Crucial to the role is communication with suppliers, activelyseeking opportunities to streamline and strengthen these crucial contacts.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities:
- Respond to MRP messages in order to procure material to support production requirements. Responsible for maintenance of purchase orders, monthly forecasting for suppliers, maintenance of key procurement parameters. Dealing with hold racks, invoice discrepancies and customs issues.
- Manage supplier performance to ensure site is working with the right strategic suppliers to support short- and long-term objectives. Take assertive position with suppliers who are past due to ensure that every alternative is explored to improve past due delivery schedules.
- Procure material according to ordering policies designed to minimize inventory costs and being left with inactive, obsolete, and surplus inventory.
- Actively support and seek opportunities to develop and streamline relationships with suppliers. Actively work to improve the purchasing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Experience in Purchasing or relevant, preferably in production company.
- Very good communication skills, able to prioritize and work under pressure.
- Responsive and responsible to deliver on commitments.
- Excellent English
- Microsoft Office (Excel in advance level).
