As a Gas and Chemical Commissioning Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant startup of critical gas systems while coordinating with engineering, construction, and operations teams.

As a Gas and Chemical Commissioning Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant startup of critical gas systems while coordinating with engineering, construction, and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Charging/Energization of High-Purity Gas Distribution Systems:
- Lead the commissioning process for high-purity gas systems such as drum & tote cabinets, valve manifold boxes, gas cabinets, high purity piping and tubing.
- Ensure safe and effective system charging and energization in compliance with established protocols.
- Execute Distribution Walkdowns:
- Perform detailed walkdowns of gas distribution submains, mains, and laterals.
- Identify and document deficiencies or variances and oversee corrective actions.
- Support System Readiness and Validation:
- Conduct inspections and functional tests to confirm system readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate system performance.
- Ensure Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures during commissioning activities.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with hazardous materials and processes.
- Maintain Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate commissioning reports, checklists, and records.
- Update documentation to reflect system modifications and enhancements.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
- 1-2 years of experience commissioning drum & tote cabinets, valve manifold boxes, gas cabinets, high purity piping and tubing in a mission critical environment.
- Strong ability to identify and resolve issues in complex mechanical systems prior to commissioning.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with trades, engineers, and management teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in semiconductor construction.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering / mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
