This is a high-impact, high-growth role that reports to the Chief Strategy Officer, with significant visibility and engagement across the leadership team (including CEO, General Managers, Head of Business Development) while forging strong connections to customers and partners. With strong performance, there will be opportunities to advance to more senior commercial roles.

At TAE Power Solutions, we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and job-related knowledge, training; licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (Sr- Manager). The compensation range for these roles is $150,000-$200,000 (+OTE)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identification, quantitative analysis, and creation of new business opportunities, in partnership with Marketing, Engineering and Stationary Business Unit
  • Building deep longstanding relationships with key customers
  • Gathering feedback and intelligence from the market, to further influence product development and business model definition
  • Securing and maintaining revenue-bearing customer accounts for TPS's BESS, power electronics components, DC Fast-Chargers, and software platform
  • Create and deliver sales plan to achieve the company revenue and customer targets. You will lead the collaborative activities across the business to deliver compelling proposals that meet our customers' requirements
  • Responsible for the complete sales process from initial engagement and account planning, detailed qualification, and compelling presentation of our products and capabilities, through to negotiation, closing and kick-off of new contracts

Required Skills
  • Exceptional technical sales track record within a relevant industry sector
  • Experience working in the Stationary BESS sector (5+ years), especially in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-scale space
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software aspects of Stationary BESS technology
  • Excellent and creative analytical skills (Excel-based at minimum), to assess and develop novel business/partnership models
  • Successful experience in the pricing and negotiation of development programs and component sales
  • Experience of bringing new technologies to market from a tier 1 supplier or OEM perspective
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and presentation skills
  • Expert in stakeholder management of commercial relationships
  • Expert in sales process and strategic planning
  • Expert negotiator, with demonstrable track record of successfully negotiated contracts

Preferred Skills:
  • Natural leader, competent in working cross-functionally and building a team with a hands-on approach
  • Experience in operating in pre-revenue environment and shaping the narrative from concept to market delivery
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to an ever-evolving landscape
  • Expertise with C&I modeling tools e.g. Energy Toolbase, REopt, HOMER
  • Have an already established network in BESS sector
  • Relevant technical degree and/or MBA
