Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships. The work model for the role is: Hybrid {#LI-Hybrid} This role contributes to the Electrification Business Area, and Smart Power/Smart Buildings divisions in the Northern part of Chile. Specifically, this position will be located in Antofagasta. Your main stakeholder groups will be clients from the Buildings, Light Industry, Mining and Utilities market segments, as well as End Users, EPC and construction companies. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating visitation plans for target customers, making regular reviews, including the analysis, handing off ideas and visit results. • Proactively plan and implement promotion activities (technical presentations, seminars, demos, content creation, fairs, among others) • Establish and keep solid long term relationships with customers from the target segments, to understand their needs and ensure they are well informed about ABB's products, systems, services, charactersitics and benefits. • Bring support by answering technical questions and carrying out electrical calculations for design institutes, technical consultants, EPC, engineering and construction companies, and End Users, recommending the most adequate solutions from ABB's portfolio. • Manage administrative tasks in technical promotion processes, communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the correct flow of information and strategic alignment. • Prospecting (cold calling) clients, developing a key player map surrounding the business.

Qualifications for the role

• You are an Electrical or Electronic Engineer with at least 2 years of experience, highly motivated by challenges, driven by results and with a hunger for constant learning.
• You are have remarkable commercial soft skills including negotiation, influence, communication, extroversion, proactivity, resilience, assertiveness and flexibility.
• You have solid knowledge of Circuit Breakers (DIN Rail, molded case and Air Circuit Breakers), contactors and switches. You also have some knowledge of some of the following systems and solutions: UPS, motor Soft Starters, Building Automation, Wiring Accessories and Meters, Electrical Chargers, Secondary Cells or Arc Flash Detection/Resistance systems.
• You have strong English language skills, being able to communicate and participate in meetings comfortably. You can also communicate in Spanish fluently.
• You reside in Antofagasta or its surroundings, as well as have availability to travel for work-related purposes through the Northern part of Chile.
