About the Role

Qualifications:
- Position: Offshore Instructor
- Department: Operations Support, Onshore Operations & Support Group
- Location: Qatar Offshore
- Employment Type: Full Time Contract.
- Contract Duration: Three (3) years initial contract with a possibility of extension.
- Scope of Work: Per below job description - (Must have Offshore Experience).
- Work Schedule: 8-10 hours per day from Sunday to Thursday
- Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (for Single Status)
Duties & responsibilities - Not Limited to the below:
- Develop & Deliver Training:
Create and implement advanced theory and practical training courses, assessments, and workplace learning materials using diverse methodologies including simulations, role plays, and e-learning. - Assess & Enhance Skills:
Identify knowledge and skills gaps through OJT programs, and tailor learning materials to meet individual and team needs. - Innovate Learning Solutions:
Design simulator training, develop technical process scenarios, and adjust lesson plans based on learner feedback to ensure continuous improvement. - Collaborate & Communicate:
Work closely with supervisors, training coordinators, and simulator engineers to ensure effective training delivery and maintain high standards in operational safety. - Maintain Records & Reports:
Track trainee progress using SAP Learning Solutions and generate performance reports for continuous enhancement of our training programs.
Minimum requirements to qualify for the role:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years in the offshore oil and gas industry
- At least 3 years of experience as an instructor
- Proven expertise in plant processes, production equipment, and basic DCS process control systems
- Background in procedure development, analysis, and operations & maintenance is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English with top-notch presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
- A natural facilitator with the ability to lead engaging training sessions.
- A solid commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standard.
