Wood is actively seeking Expressions of Interest for Information and Digital Delivery Manager role to support future growth in our expanding business.

The projects team focusing on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

This is a long-term assignment based in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Information and Digital Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

• Creating business growth through the practical
application of technology. It is a job for a generalist, with a broad vertical understanding of the Wood
organisation and how we work, a broad horizontal understanding our client sectors and an understanding of
technology and innovation.
• This role is central to Woods continued digital transformation and ensures the IDT and business strategies
remain aligned.
• The primary focus is to connect Wood core digital enablers to business needs driving external growth
opportunities and unlocking internal efficiencies in partnership with the business to position Wood as a
digitally enabled organisation and market leader.
• Is a trusted technology leader providing digital knowledge and expertise
• Provides digital leadership across the Wood business aligned with business needs to deliver on their digital objectives and realise the expected benefits
• Is the digital interface for IDT services out to the business, unlocking capabilities to deliver digital solutions efficiently and effectively
• Is aligned with the Product Managers and aware of their latest developments in order to present a consistent message to the business
• Is aligned with the IDT Business Partners presenting a consolidated and clear interface to the business
• The DBP is a business focal / escalation point for digital initiatives. The DBP develops and nurtures a network of cross-functional relationships across the business, IDT and in partner organisations to ensure that opportunities are identified, developed and implemented effectively. A successful DBP is able to connect and translate business needs into actionable digital initiatives that deliver strategic benefits to the organisation and its customers.
• Continually refresh knowledge and awareness of new and emerging technologies and services within a variety of different industries, and how they could be applied within the
• Organisation in support of the Digital Strategy
• Be able to assimilate new products/technologies rapidly and elevating appropriate innovation opportunities where they can benefit the Wood business
• Drive awareness of products and technology platforms across the wider business.
• Understand Wood's core enablers. Co-create and drive the technology plan for Wood's "hero" solutions and the digital product lines that support them

Experience:

• Well established industry reputation, typically 20 years experience

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness;
• Positive and practical with an ability to think strategically;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of business processes, data and IT systems utilised within an industrial and corporate environment;
• Excellent understanding of business and technology trends, with a strong understanding of underlying systems and data. Understand how data driven insights inform and unlock better decision-making and value generation;
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions, technology decisions and strategy relating to delivering client facing products;
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with the ability to influence, build relationships and sell ideas to stakeholders, clients and partners, sometimes in challenging circumstances
