We are currently seeking a Construction System Engineer, reporting directly to Construction System Manager (Program Manager) to join our CMC Construction Method Center, team based in Rome, Italy

After a period of extensive knowledge acquisition on EasyPlant Suite functionalities, the resource takes a role in the frame of Construction Digital Factory.
As member of an Agile Team, he/she follows a growing path:
This process occurs in the frame of Agile methodology which brings a structured and effective approach to development scope, and under a TEN Global Governance.
In particular his/her duties are the following:
All the above steps provides enough competence to be eventually engaged as EasyPlant Coordinator on a project, joining the construction site as soon as required.
Within the Project, he/she is accountable for the set-up, deployment and operation of the EasyPlant suite:
At site, the role reports to Site Manager, with many interactions with Construction Dept. internal roles (Project Leaders, Construction Discipline Specialists, PC&C Leader, Planning manager, Subcontracting engineer) and external reps (Project Teams, Engineering Departments, CMC, supervision at Site/Yard and Construction Subcontractors)

As member of an Agile Team, he/she follows a growing path:
- At first he/she is involved in testing activities of new / enhanced features, writing and executing well-structured test plans and interacting with the team to de-bug the solution and grant it being robust and reliable.
- As a second step, he/she evolves to the Product Owner role, being responsible of the Team Backlog for the application development, its deployment and usage by TEN projects.
This process occurs in the frame of Agile methodology which brings a structured and effective approach to development scope, and under a TEN Global Governance.
In particular his/her duties are the following:
- Analysis of the requirements and contribution to definition of new work process or modification of the existing processes
- Produce detailed functional specification answering business requirements
- Collaborate with their agile team to detail and plan user stories with acceptance criteria within the backlog
- Participate in agile team meetings for program backlog refinement and preparation before the Program Increment planning event
- Assist the team on daily basis, providing the necessary clarifications to define the story estimates and sequencing.
- Conduct user acceptance test before final product release and support the deployment of new features
- Communication, demonstration and promotion of new solutions using new/existing design tools.
All the above steps provides enough competence to be eventually engaged as EasyPlant Coordinator on a project, joining the construction site as soon as required.
Within the Project, he/she is accountable for the set-up, deployment and operation of the EasyPlant suite:
- Collect and Prepare the set-up data, with proper control on quality and integrity, interacting with engineering, planning and construction representatives
- Maintain up to date the database for Projects execution, including also all operational data to be provided on daily basis by site operators.
- Grant any kind of Site activities Reporting is properly updated and shared to all expected parties
- Provide communication and functional training to site users.
- Assist site/yard users for all requests related to the Construction tools.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering disciplines
- Knowledge in IT tools (databases and MS Excel software)
- Experience with use of 3D model software (nice to have)
- Familiarity with construction industry basics (Quality Control, Planning / Progress, Handover, etc.) (nice to have)

- Fluency in spoken and written English
