We are currently seeking a Piping Engineering Intern to join our Piping & Plant Layout Engineering team based in our Houston office.

About the Internship

We are excited to offer a dynamic internship opportunity for motivated and technically inquisitive students to join the piping team at Technip Energies. This internship is designed for individuals eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in developing piping material specifications, pipe stress analysis solutions, design and layout, and other areas of implementation within our industry.

Interns will have the chance to collaborate with engineers from various disciplines and colleagues from Technip Energies globally. Initially, interns will support activities within the piping engineering and design department. Responsibilities typically include assisting with the preparation and issuance of engineering documents using our document management system, performing calculations, contributing to Specialty Item Datasheets and Line Designation Tables, and supporting senior engineers and piping leads with additional tasks. All activities will be conducted under the guidance of experienced professionals in the field.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for on-the-job learning and growth, supplemented by internal and external training opportunities. Interns will be encouraged to develop their skills and maximize their potential in a supportive and innovative environment.

About You
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency with MS Office software
  • Able to use AutoCAD or comparable 2D drafting software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
