Senior Advanced Data Engineer

As a Senior Advanced Data Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing the data analytics pipelines and Power BI reporting framework for Building Automation. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our Building Automation New Product Introduction (NPI) processes through data analytics and reporting. Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement and deployment of cross-functional processes through training and coaching.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, manage and monitor data management services, pipelines and ETL processes running in Azure.

• Write complex queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources.

• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation procedures.

• Create stored procedures, scripts, and functions to support data processing tasks.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols within the Azure environment.

• Create dynamic and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that are user-friendly and meet business requirements.

• Use data to improve BA development efficiency by identifying critical measures and delivering them to users

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and iterate on BI solutions.

• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboard functionalities.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, Data Science, etc.).

• 5+ years of experience in Data Visualization with advanced knowledge of Power BI

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics

• Proficiency with Cloud Services like Azure Data Factory, Fabric and/or DataBricks

• Deep Understanding of New Product Introduction and Agile methodology

• Practical knowledge of AI/ML

• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
