We have an opportunity for an Advanced Hardware Engineer - Inertial Navigation to join our team in Krakow, Poland, Brno, Czech Republic, or Porto St Elpidio, Italy.
In this role, you will focus on hardware segment development of Inertial Navigation Systems for different types of applications (space, aerospace, terrestrial, underground), related to hardware architecture, PCB design, and other relevant tasks. Through that, you will gain experience in an exciting industry field and expand your technical skills, allowing you to grow your expertise with cutting-edge technologies and develop your career.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with full HW development process (requirement definition, Component selection, schematic, BOM, verification, documentation)
- Generating multilayer high-density printed circuit board designs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layout tools, per electrical and mechanical engineering input and per IPC and/or MIL standards in accordance with company-established procedures
- Define or collaborate to define test setup, develop or review test procedure and testing the manufactured prototypes analyzing the test results and provide any updates or tweaks
- Modify existing hardware systems to ensure functional optimal capacity and eliminate performance issues
- When required, monitoring and assisting the manufacturer in the assembly of prototypes, directly or through the interface of the Product Engineering Department.

Key requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer in digital and analogue electronics.
- Knowledge of instrumentation for laboratory testing with experience with prototyping.
- Hardware Design with digital components (such as microcontroller, FPGA, ADC, DAC, etc) with knowledge fundamentals of Op-Amp and Typical Op-Amp Based circuits.
- Master the fundamentals of Signal Integrity.
- Knowledge of English Language, both in writing/reading technical documentation.

- Experience with DO-254 standard.
- Degree in Electronics Engineering.
- Attention to detail, excellent precision, ability to communicate through frequent meetings and thorough documentation, to keep the team fully updated and focused to the final target.
- Working as part of a team whose members are responsible for different portions of the design.
- Organized and systematic to maintain documentation in appropriate order.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of assembly process.
- Experience with Altium Designer.
- Development/simulation tools such as Orcad/Spice (or similar).
- Knowledge of inertial sensors.
- Knowledge of typical avionic communication protocols like ARINC.
- Experience with IBM National DOORS tool.
