The Global Mobility Tax, Advisor is responsible for managing expatriate payroll processing, supporting current and former expatriates, maintaining relationships with third-party tax and relocation vendors, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Position administers the Global Tax Equalization policy, ensuring fair and consistent application across all expatriate assignments.

Responsibilities May Include:
  • Expatriate Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage the payroll processing for expatriates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and company policies.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party tax and relocation vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and support for expatriates.
  • Payment Processing: Handle payments to tax authorities and employees, as well as process payment requests for the company resulting from year-end tax equalizations.
  • Mobile Equity Processing: Manage the processing of mobile equity for expatriates, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Expatriate Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for current and former expatriates, providing support and guidance on payroll and tax matters related to their assignments.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements, staying up to date with changes in tax laws and policies. Create reports and analyze payroll data.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll or tax-related issues that may arise, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to find effective solutions.
  • Canada Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage the payroll processing for Canadian employees, by working with the outsource provider and performing key audits.

Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 or more years analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Payroll certification
  • Payroll experience (US, UK, and Canada)
  • SAP Payroll experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team
