Our client, a leader in the electronics industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the technical demands of gas and chemical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician

Location: Tualatin, OR

Shift: Start M-F for training (7 am-4:00 pm), Later on it will be day/night compressed shifts (7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM)

Duration: 12+ Months contract with a possibility to go perm

What's the Job?

• Support the technical demands of site gas and/or chemical equipment.
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems.
• Conduct complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.
• Ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, safety, and drive flawless execution.
• Participate in Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician.
• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment is preferred.
• Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic training is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo random drug tests as part of site policy.
