This position reports to
Lead - Motor & Generator Services
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and verification activities for assignments of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently. Each day, you will provide technical support during the installation of test objects in the test area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project test documentation. The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Business for Services Division in Peenya- Bangalore, India You will be mainly responsible for: • ABB Tools - MI data and ServIS Learning. • Executes testing according to schedule. Prepares project test documentation. Provides technical support during installation of test objects in the test area. • Process the data from test measurements using ABB tools. Interpret the processed results to diagnose the equipment condition. • Calculating Residual Life of the equipment, health condition of equipment and prediction • Generate complete report by providing practical and technical recommendations as corrective measures to enhance machines life. • Providing technical support related to insulation scheme or preservation of the same to the service engineers or to customer. • Analyze and interpret from the ABB database, identify the pattern and trends. Prepare case studies and success stories. • Enhance Customer experience by providing immediate & effective resolution for commissioning & post sale queries. • Discuss with Testing team to provide insights to customers based on the data captured and enhance credibility of product.

Qualifications for the role
- Education: BE/Btech -Electrical with minimum experience of 3+ years in similar field with below expertise:
- 1. Condition Monitoring of Motors and Generators of all types and ratings.
- 2. Offline and Online Testing of HV/LV Motors and Generators of all types and Ratings
- 3. Basic knowledge on Insulation scheme used in Electric Motors and Generators.
- 4. Knowledge on Testing performed on Motors and Generators.
- 5. Basic Analysis knowledge of condition monitoring and tests.
- 6. Design knowledge of large motors and generators preferred
- Challenges:
- 1. Willingness to travel to sites as and when required PAN India and abroad based on project need.
- 2. Effectively communicate Analysis to the end customer
