Senior SCM Specialist
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation, IA Procurement & Logistic in Krakow. You will be mainly accountable for: • Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders • Proactively monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers • Proactively manage on time deliveries • Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices • Conduct negotiations with the suppliers, • Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders • Report your achievements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis • Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements.

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in business English (B2/C1) and Italian (C1 is essential).
- You have 1-2 years of experience in a corporate environment, ideally in operational procurement/SCM.
- You possess advanced knowledge of SAP Ariba and Excel, which would be considered advantageous.
- You are passionate about excellent communication, fostering team spirit, and maintaining customer focus with a proactive approach.
- You have a demonstrated track record of negotiation skills
