This Position reports to:
R&D Team Lead

Key responsibilities

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Research on Generative AI, e.g., agentic workflows, chain-of-thought approaches, advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering applied to the domain of industrial automation
• Find out capabilities and limitations of novel code generation methods by testing them in challenging industrial automation projects
• Prototypical implementation as a proof-of-concept (e.g., using Python, C#, LangChain, Azure)
• Systematic evaluation and documentation of results and learnings

Qualifications for the role

• Background in computer science, software and systems engineering, information technology, electrical/automation engineering (or a related subject)
• Experience with software development in Python or other languages
• Additional experience in creating LLM applications using state-of-the art methods and tools is a plus
• Curious about new technologies and want to tackle challenges collaboratively and independently
• Sound English skills in speaking and writing required by an international team
