The Total Rewards Communications Leader will be responsible for the strategy and execution of global Total Rewards communications encompassing Health and Welfare, Retirement and Savings, and Compensation benefits. This leader will partner with our Total Rewards, People Operations, and HR teams, as well as external agencies, to deliver a Total Rewards and People Operations communications plan that showcases our differentiated offerings and reinforce our brand as an employer of choice.
This is a leadership role with 2 direct reports and will be part of GE Aerospace's HR & Culture Communications team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Total Rewards, benefits, compensation, and employee communications, leading and influencing teams, ability to build and manage relationships, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategy creation, and operational rigor.

The base pay range for this position is $150,600.00 - 200,800.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 3/21/2024.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with our Total Rewards, People Operations, and HR teams, as well as external agencies, to deliver a Total Rewards and People Operations communications plan that showcases our differentiated offerings and reinforces our brand as an employer of choice
- Lead the Total Rewards and People Operations communications team
- Develop effective ways to increase awareness and understanding of employee benefits and programs offered, and to increase participation
- Recommend and plan communications strategies, programs, or activities that address specific business issues or employee needs and achieve desired results
- Analyze and design an improved communications strategy to recommend new channels, methods and ideas
- Assist in the design, writing and editing of materials in various media, including web, social, email / newsletters, print (signage, posters, mailings, etc.) and for a variety of audiences
- Provide executive communications support to GE Aerospace's Total Rewards Leader, as needed
- Implement processes that drive long-term planning, high-quality content gathering and rigorous execution
- Work in collaboration with the entire communications team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications with a focus on Total Rewards, Benefits, Compensation, and Employee Communications

Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a large global setting and/or with a large multi-national Corporation
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and experience leading communications on a global scale
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs
- Skilled at developing messaging to deploy across written, video, graphic, and other forms of content
- Ability to work independently on tactical deliverables and incorporate strategic viewpoint
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to build relationships and gather feedback on communications

- Candidates must reside local to a GE Aerospace facility for a hybrid work schedule (i.e. 3 days onsite at one of our GE Aerospace facilities and 2 days remote)
