Lead Contract Administrator

SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offers all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.
Position
Provide necessary support in the preparation/ review of the Particular Terms & Conditions for procurement and subcontracting, and in the negotiation of critical terms with Vendors/Subcontractors thereafter.
Assist the subcontracting and procurement teams in handling critical and contentious matters pertaining to deviations to terms and conditions, change orders and claims of subcontractors and vendors.
Managing the contract administration group and ensuring the staff performance is up to the required standard & competencies.
Reporting and advising KPD Management on the Contractual & Commercial status of the Contracts in a timely and effective manner.
Supervising contract management and delivery by the contractor to the main obligations.
Preparing and implementing Contract Management Plans.
Evaluating and managing Contract Opportunities and Risks.
Coordinating and supervising contract administration activities.
Coordinate and consolidate EP contract administration reports;
Managing communication with Execution Contract Management Teams and Contractors as appropriate and providing timely and effective feedback to the management.
Supervising contract close-out phases.
Assisting monitoring and audit teams (EP, KPD, corporate and external) during Execution Contracts compliance review/audit
Providing necessary assistance in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
Providing feedback on lessons learned from Contract management activities.
Liasing with Procurement and / or Legal Department with reference to significant Contractual / Commercial issues.
Requirements
10 years of experience in Contract management of Projects related to sectors like Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizers/ Energy
B.E/ B. Tech or equivalent
Versed with delay analysis techniques, and Extension of Time claims.
Conversant with costing methodologies, and Change Orders
Profound conceptual understanding and mastery of contract and claim management, capacity to challenge
Effective communication, verbal and written, and drafting skills
