Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for a Procurement Quality Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Atyrau (5/2), Kazakhstan (for KZ passport holders).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review product /material requisitions and validate QC requirements
- Provide Quality input to technical bid evaluations when and as needed
- Attend project kick off meetings to provide QA/QC input.
- Arrange Pre-Fabrication Meetings (PFM) based on FCR levels of equipment and materials
- Review Vendor documentation in line with SDRLs, as required, including but not limited to: Vendor Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Material certifications, Certificates of Compliance, Vendor Procedures for Welding/NDT/Preservation, Vendor Fabrication Procedures, as well as Manufacturing Record Books and other records as defined in the SDRLs / MRs
- Check and review the Suppliers Document Lists against SDRLs / MRs
- Liaison with TPI (third party inspection) based on Criticality Rating levels;
- Support 3rd party inspection coordination process and review inspection reports and release notes
- Managing the 3rd Party Inspections
- Ensuring the documentation is in place and packing is complete for releasing the materials
- Inspection Reports review, which shall include but not limited to: PO general information, engineering status, material status, fabrication status, inspection summary, details of non-conformances, etc.
- NCRs raised in the inspection reports are uploaded into the Assurance System
- Regular quality reporting as required and ensure the satisfactory reporting, tracking and closure of project NCRs and Preventive Actions
- Conduct review of project technical queries and standard deviation requests
- Verify completeness of vendor and project documentation and Support implementation of quality continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the closure of Quality requirements for project close out
- Quality input to project lessons learned and risk management sessions
- Plan and partake in internal project and supplier audits.
- Support in conducting root cause analysis of project nonconformities and technical incidents.
- Supports Management review and prepares relevant data inputs
- Develop and execute contract quality programs in accordance with Contract and/or Projects Execution Plan arrangements
- Support delivery of the contract Assurance Programme
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in related field
- Work experience in the respective position no less than 5-7 years
