ABB Motion is looking for a motivated professional to lead our team of service engineers and technicians, located in Perth, Western Australia. In this fast-paced role, you will play a crucial part in executing our service strategy and driving service growth. Your expertise will shine as you deliver timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and projects, including field service and repairs, to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience managing an electrical workshop and possess strong Occupational Health and Safety awareness, technical support and service experience, quality management skills, and a customer-centric approach. The work model for the role is: onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Contributing to customer satisfaction by assigning workshop engineer(s) according to workshop processes and guidelines. • Utilizing the available resources effectively through proper planning and scheduling to meet delivery targets (e.g., on-time delivery, response time, ordered service offerings, update of installed based data). • Ensuring that materials and components to feed the service delivery are provided and optimized in terms of cost, stock, and timing. • Driving continuous service productivity improvement activities in the assigned Service team.

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing an electrical workshop
  • Electrical trade certificate or degree (beneficial)
  • Knowledge and experience with ABB drives (preferred)
  • Familiarity with variable speed drives or motors (advantageous)
