Do you have profound knowledge of Lifting operations? Can you supervise and motivate a team of technicians, constantly aiming at completing your tasks in time to the right safety standards and to the highest quality?

You will work on different projects on our sites which means that you should expect up to 180 travel days per year. You can be hired from our offices in either Taiwan, Japan but where you live is not so important as you will be travelling. In this position you will work with our Special Projects team and service team both On and Offshore

Our department consists of the following roles: PM, Project coordinator, site manager and Deputy site managers and Supervisors. external technicians and consultant support. We develop efficient and dedicated resources with the right mindset. we coordinate and develop people and teams to support operational success. We create a culture of safety and costs consciousness and quality.

Responsibilities

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the daily coordination and handling of the work scope on every lift performed during Special projects operations. You must work closely with the Deputy site Manager, AP for Lifting Operations and the Supervisor team. When we are not preforming crane related tasks it is expected that we support the service operation on and Offshore, where we will assist with regular services tasks and maybe trouble shooting if you process the skills

It is your responsibility together with the Supervisors, that the Team is working efficiently and ensuring, that all work during operations is preformed safely and according to Vestas quality standards as well as making sure, that the Team has all necessary documentation available such as Work Instructions, Method Statements and Risk assessments etc. After every task completed the Lifting Supervisor together with the Supervisors team hands over required documents and information to the Service team, and the Quality team. You must work attentively and always intervene if any issues occur and after rotation end, you must provide a comprehensive hand over to your back to back.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you need to be fluent in English (orally and written) combined with a good interest in both the administrative, technical and supervision areas. You can also show:
  • Minimum 10 years of Wind turbine experience
  • Heavy lifting experience from the wind industry is useful and knowledge about BS 7121 and LOLER
  • Experience with V112, V117, and V164

  • Hold a technical education (mechanical/electrical) combined with WTG experience
  • Have experience working with electrical/hydraulic diagrams
  • You are highly quality and safety focused and possess a proficient continuous mindset

  • Are focused on customer-relations
  • Have good process understanding as well as good delegation and administration skills
