Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will play a vital role in the procurement and logistics team in Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area, in Americas region. In this role you will provide assistance to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures and by providing relevant market information. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics division in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P. You will be mainly accountable for: • Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions. • Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures. • Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues. • Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists. • Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related.
• 1-2 years of experience working in similar position.
• Purchasing process knowledge.
• Negotiation skills is desirable.
• Experience in indirect purchasing is valuable.
• Knowledge of MS Office as a required. SAP and/or SAP Ariba experience is a plus.
• Fluent English is required, fluent Portuguese is desirable
