This position reports to
Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Leading front-end sales activities of VSDS with customers looking for high-power MV drive systems in close collaboration with tendering back-end. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships along account planning; continuously engaging with various customers types to understands their needs, promotes their recognition of ABB's VSDS solutions offering products/services, and aligns its positioning in sales pursuits. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process by proactively developing leads and keeping the sales process focused in order to be successful, Responsible for OR volume and profitability targets for the assigned Product Group as well as opportunity pipeline development. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls. Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome by using effective sales techniques in long-cycle project sales. Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers related to VSDS offerings. Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated growth initiatives and mandates. Finalizes offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the respective Sales Manager in compliance with corporate guidelines. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and commercial conditions. Communicates and negotiates with the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical
- with 5 to 8 years industry experience / preferably sales and technical supports
- Essential & Preferred requirements are:
- Motor and VFD system knowledge
- Industry experience on sales in Saudi Arabia
- Sales skills on projects and solutions offerings Cross-country collaboration and effective communication as work in virtual teams.
- Knowledge on E-house, Transformer, Switchgear as well as cooling systems.
- Mechanical driver replacements such as turbines and decarbonization solution knowledge.
- Process knowledge for heavy industries.
- Knowledge of SFDC
- Fluent in Arabic and English is required
