This position reports to
Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
1. Conducts test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable. 2. Supports quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization. Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies. 3. Executes and assists specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation. 4. Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages. 5. Collects, records, and evaluates data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrity. 6. Escalates product quality or safety non-conformance cases to quality control organization. Assists engineering staff to develop test protocols, as necessary, to investigate the integrity of new products or new functionality for existing products. 7. Performs activities related to designated areas within quality control, including quality testing and verification, laboratory and certifications, product safety and compliance, and audits and reporting. 8. Evaluates test performance for effectiveness and efficiency to improve test design. Provides feedback and advice to the Engineering/R&D team on improvement opportunities in product and/or process design.

Qualifications for the role
- Graduate in Engineering Degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation)
- Specialized sources such as quality engineering, quality management and assurance is an added advantage
- with 6 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC and testing, well versed with international quality standards.
- Experience in Analytical systems and ARAMCO projects preferred.
- Fluent in English communication is required.
