They have a permanent opportunity for a Site Manager to be based at their local office in Sugar Land, TX.

Position Summary:
This is an onsite position local to the Greater Houston area (Sugar Land). The role involves overseeing resource utilization, project planning, and coordination for integration and site activities. The position requires budget approvals, performance monitoring, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining high business standards. Responsibilities include client invoicing, payment follow-ups, and liaising with government authorities and certification bodies. The role also focuses on talent development, implementation of technical strategy, and maintenance of QMS/HSE standards. Additionally, the candidate will engage in market intelligence, foster customer relationships, and support management in driving operational excellence and business growth.

Responsibilities:
Project & Resource Management
- Ensure effective utilization of resources including manpower, budget, materials, methods, and machinery.
- Plan and coordinate resources for integration and site activities.
- Review and approve budgets for project execution and procurement.
- Periodically assess project progress and team performance.
- Ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction, safety, and financial performance (PAT/PBT).
- Liaise with government and state authorities, vendors, and external bodies for smooth execution of work.
- Collaborate with certification bodies (BVQI, TUV, DNV) to formalize, achieve, and maintain QMS, OH&S, and EMS certifications for U.S. Operations.
- Maintain and enhance Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) standards.
Team and Organizational Development
- Enable and mentor team members to enhance performance.
- Manage employee relations, career development, and attrition reduction within direct reports.
- Assist in the induction of new strategies and technologies into the organization.
- Establish full-fledged integration labs in key business functions.
- Protect the health, safety, and welfare of employees and others affected by business operations.
- Identify and control workplace risks to prevent injuries and health hazards.
- Conduct risk assessments addressing potential harm in the workplace.
- Communicate workplace risks and protective measures while instructing and training employees.
- Consult with employees on health and safety issues, either directly or through an HSE officer.
Experience Required:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in any of the following disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Occupational Health & Safety (HSE Management)
- Relevant Certifications (PMP, CSP, ISO 45001, etc.) are preferred.
Industry Experience
- 10-15 years’ relevant experience in a relevant field (engineering project management, site management).
- At least 3 years’ experience managing telecommunications projects, such as telecommunications infrastructure, networks, or systems.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a multinational company (MNC), working with leadership or high-level management.
