This Position reports to:
Reliability Testing Manager

ABB Drives Estonia is looking for a Test Engineer to join the team! In this role, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of Business Motion products by maintaining and developing ALT or ORT test systems. You will conduct tests according to plans and specifications, analyze failures, and build testing specifications with R&D. Additionally, you will provide technical support for new tester ramp-up projects and suggest corrective procedures based on data analysis.

The working model for the role is: onsite #LIonsite

This role is contributing to the ABB Drives in Jüri, Estonia.

You will mainly be accountable for

• Conduct ALT/ORT tests according to the test plan and specifications.
• Analyze root causes of tester-related failures and propose actions to reduce recurring issues.
• Perform basic product fault analysis and report findings to the product owner, including root cause follow-up.
• Develop testing specifications in collaboration with R&D for endurance and reliability testers.
• Provide technical support for project managers in new tester ramp-up projects.

Qualifications for the role

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Power Electronics.
• Creative and hands-on working style.
• Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset.
• Excellent English (spoken and written); proficiency in Estonian and Russian is beneficial.
• Strong PC skills (e.g., Databases, MS Excel).
