Your role and responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional General Counsel based in Italy, you will be a member of the Process Automation Regional legal team in Europe, provide support to the Process Automation (PA) businesses in the assigned cluster of territories Your role and responsibilities • Develop close working relationships with the internal customers including the management. • Provide cross border legal support. • Participate and assist in negotiations of Contracts, Agreements, Consortium and JV. • Review bids, negotiations, contracts, policies and other legal documents from vendors, customers and other third parties. • Ensuring compliance with policies and legislation. • Participate in and promote activities to ensure employees conduct business in compliance with the directives and the local laws. • Implement the compliance/integrity Group program. • Provide training to employees on contractual matters. • Raising and defending litigation matters brought against the company using relevant external experts. • Ensuring that all external legal advice is provided in a cost-effective way.

Qualifications for the role

• Master Degree in Law.
• 10 years + working experience in a major corporation and/or in a leading law firm.
• Demonstrable experience dealing with both common law and civil law issues.
• Self-motivated and able to progressively work with autonomy.
• Team spirited, solution orientated and with pragmatic approach.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and being able to work effectively with business clients.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, another third language is a plus.
