Marketing & Sales Manager - Service

Your role and responsibilities

1. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops and implements a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales. • Interprets the global industry segment strategy to meet region/country requirements and implements with country specific action plans. • Leads the definition of industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model). • Defines key targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures those are achieved for the assigned segment(s). • Ensures detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow-up. • Helps negotiate complex legal and commercial international frame agreements. • Ensures ABB's value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally). • Activates operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify best processes, equipment, and automation practices, etc. • Supports local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s). • Feeds back to the business / product groups on market developments and requirements. • Uses standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and measure progress by segment. • Identifies and manages risk relating to contract agreements and prices across segments. • Drives the growth of the top line in each target industry segment. • Ensures that the major accounts in the segment(s) are identified and prioritized. 2. LICENSE TO OPERATE / CORE VALUES • Participates in the development of international standards and regulations by identifying and influencing the appropriate external bodies (including government, legislative bodies, and technical and trade associations). • Ensures that Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and integrity requirements are integrated and are up to date in their respective business process(es) and applications. 3. COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP • Builds relationship with key external influencers to educate, inform, and solicit support for new ABB ventures and technical developments. • Builds and maintains strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders. • Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. • Acts as Account Manager (if needed) for one or more major accounts in the region/country. • Ensures that the team is well prepared and has the necessary internal support to pursue and manage large project contracts. • Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed. • Coaches, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates in line with HR policies.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • with 7 years' in service organization with at least 3 years' experience in Sales.
  • Knowledge to use Sales Tools ( Salesforce , SAP booking , PPT, Excel ). advantages.
  • Knowledge of service portfolio for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage
  • Salesforce, SAP booking, Microsoft
  • Knowledge of service portfolio for LV&MV.
  • Fluent in English (read and write) is required.
