Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
You will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage an account strategy fo-cused on increasing share of wallet, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities in-clude coordinating sales activities, monitoring ongoing projects, and resolving specific customer is-sues. You will also provide insights into market pricing trends and developments. Key stakeholders include major customers in the utilities, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users. Own the Challenge
- Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work (SoW) growth initiatives.
- Understanding key business drivers, including significant and emerging risks (e.g., sustainability, digitalization, cybersecurity), and translating them into relevant impacts and opportunities for ABB.
- Contributing to the development of sales strategies by providing insights into the customer's cur-rent operations and long-term business plans.
- Defining sales targets, monitoring market price trends and competitor activity, and ensuring ap-propriate response strategies are in place.
What it takes to Run what Runs the World
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the electrifica-tion or energy sector.
- Solid understanding of medium and low-voltage technologies and energy management systems.
- 5+ years in technical or industrial sales, with a focus on long-term customer relationship manage-ment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management and a value-driven approach.
