JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY

• Accurate and timely processing of all customer orders
• Perform picking/packing duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
• At times required to pick parts for Production based on the demand
• Operation Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for various functions including picking, quality, inventory, shipping
• Posses the ability to access and operate current Operating system to assist in the investigation of stock
• Can work well under pressure
• Must have a forklift license
• A positive, must do attitude with a scene of urgency
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle count
• At times will be required to perform other warehouse duties
• Adhere to NOV policies and procedures

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

• Picking and packing of all customer orders
• Keeping a neat and tidy area
• Ensuring that all items are picked and pack correctly
• All parts to be checked against customer orders to ensure zero errors
• Cartons must be labelled correctly
• Ensure that cartons are packed neatly on a pallet for daily collection
• Customer pickups are prioritized and labelled clearly
• Works well within a team environment and can be flexible at times
• RF experience
• Storing & Packing of Inventory.
• Stock control including daily cycle counting reconciliation.
• Ensuring Inventory is kept in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Ensuring stores area is always kept in a clean and presentable condition.
• Liaison with all personal to ensure all inventory is accountable
• Responsibility to comply with QA, Health, Safety and Environmental goals of NOV and customers.

Quality Assurance

• Identify and record non-conformances.
• Preserve product to the extent practical.
• Responsible for correct identification, selection, appropriate packing of all goods supplied from NOV warehouses to customers.
• Verifying all material received is correct according to documentation.
• Ensuring all received material is marked with JDE material number and stored in the correct location.
• Correct handling of products as per Handling, Storage and Protection of Products procedure.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift license

• Broad knowledge of products and services being sold by NOV.
