Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing new features and functionality for the flagship simulation suite of Honeywell Connected Industrial portfolio.
• Primary responsibility includes mathematical model formulation, software design and implementation of simulation software. This includes but is not limited to developing/maintaining library of process unit operations in steady state, simulation utilities, interfaces to 3rd party simulators and tools.
• Responsible for delivering top notch quality product.
• Be part of entire product development life cycle: idea inception, application/feature design, implementation adhering to coding standards, test and address customer feedback
• Responsible for interfacing with relevant Internal and external stakeholders throughout development life cycle.
You Must Have:
• Bachelors/Master's in chemical engineering with 4-10 years of prior work experience in developing simulation software
• Should have knowledge in any object-oriented programming preferably in C++, C# / VB.Net and Component Object Model (COM).
• Strong fundamentals in Chemical Engg first principles modeling.
• Hands on mathematical formulation of unit operations, Numerical methods for solving these equations and flow sheet wide sequential solver approaches.
• Ability to simplify modelling equations for better model performance.
• Exposure to constrained optimization or non-linear solvers
• Knowledge and Experience in Column Distillation, Heat Exchanger, Reaction and Reactor Simulation would be an added advantage.

• Experience in Agile / SCRUM based development.
