No experience / No degreeOrion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Contracts & Pricing on behalf of our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client located in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid role, 2 days on site.
Role Summary
The Sr. Associate Contracts & Pricing is an integral member of the Global Contracts and Pricing Operations (Global CPO) team within Global Value & Access. Global CPO delivers operational excellence by enabling product shipments and customer payments at negotiated contract terms including business insights and solutions, across over 100 ex-US countries and 2 operating regions. The team operates in a fast-paced and geographically diverse environment.
The Sr. Associate Contracts & Pricing will focus on operational pricing and contracting matters across the entire portfolio of our client, with a specific focus within an assigned country cluster as well as the possibility to support system development and reporting initiatives. In this role you will ensure that the correct prices are applied on orders (according to signed contracts) and that contractual rebates are paid to customers on time as well as test business solutions and perform data checks. You will support our internal customers (affiliates) and work together with many different departments (like IT, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting). Other activities include participating in projects and identifying and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate operational support of contracts and pricing for countries within (sub)region.
- Perform business testing and monitoring activities supporting pricing system changes.
- Support user linking, user group access and approval workflows.
- Provide system and process training to business users (incl. creation/maintenance training materials).
- Perform SOX controls and data integrity checks.
- Successfully represent the CPO team in cross-functional projects.
- Provide appropriate and accurate information and data analysis for effective decision making.
- Generate suggestions and implement new processes or process changes with direction.
- Initiate and execute improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of contracts and pricing operations.
- Attend and/or facilitate cross-functional meetings to develop and implement business solutions.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written communication.
- Analytical skills.
- Strong skills using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and/or MS Project.
- Master’s degree
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Contract and Pricing operations, sales operations, Finance, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience
- OR
- Associate’s degree and 6 years of Contract and Pricing operations, sales operations, Finance, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience
- OR
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Contract and Pricing operations, sales operations, Finance, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience.
- Fluency in at least one other language.
- Internal experience at our client or pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Experience working with/in affiliates.
- Some functional experience in pricing and global contracts and pricing system platforms including business testing.
- Experience in working across various cultures.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to communicate at various levels, within department and with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong to excellent track record of working in teams.
- Motivated, persistent, pro-active, and hands-on.
- Ability to solve complex problems with support.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skill, including experience with Tableau and or other reporting tools
- High attention to detail.
