This is a full-time onsite position in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Objectives

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Withholding Tax

Participate in research on Withholding Tax (WHT) and other taxes of Client, prepare the WHT file and schedule, prepare the IPSs according to the WHT payment plan and follow up with the bank for the payment receipts (ACHs). Prepare the cover letter which is sent to GCT with payment receipts. In charge of managing WHT receipt. Interface with related vendor contracts to coordinate with any issues. Response to the GCT contracts for the details queries.

Fixed Asset (FA) Management

Follow up with BL for close out the completed projects. Prepare the list of FA each half year in Arabic and English for client requirements. Send the list of FA to Accounting SH for approval. Prepare the letter of FA for send to DG office of Client. Keep follow up with Client team about their inquiries and details about list of FA during all year. Handle the FA list which is transferred to Client and supplement the related information (e.g. value, location, etc.). Complete the account book for FA regarding the requirement of LC. Manage the FA book and provide information to the company.

• At least bachelor's degree in finance & accounting
