JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an intern to work with our engineering team at NOV Little Rock.
Primary responsibilities of this internship will be to create, revise, and manage technical documentation that is used by our operators on the manufacturing floor. This work is critically important to the safety, quality, and productivity of the plant.

We are looking for an intern to work with our engineering team at NOV Little Rock.
Primary responsibilities of this internship will be to create, revise, and manage technical documentation that is used by our operators on the manufacturing floor. This work is critically important to the safety, quality, and productivity of the plant.
Secondary responsibilities will include the following:
- Supporting a 5S program in the facility - tasks will include sorting, labeling, and working with vendors to develop adequate signage.
- Recording process cycle times for efficiency review.
- Supporting field tool production.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including grammar and spelling.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Background in engineering as a student and/or in past work experience.
- Ability to properly use measuring devices such as scales, calipers, and measuring tapes.
Perks of the job:
- Paid position up to 29 hours per week.
- Exposure to compression molding and filament winding manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with technical writing, lean manufacturing methods, and real world problem solving.
