As a Sr Advanced Cybersecurity Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect our critical assets and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, develop security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our digital environment and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will report directly to our Cybersecurity Manager and you'll work out of our San Luis Potosi location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by:
1. Designing and conducting cybersecurity compliance assessments based on frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, and other relevant standards. You will create compliance assessment templates as per Honeywell Controls defined by the GRC team, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal requirements.
2. Bringing experience in working in audit or closely with 3rd and 1st line of defense in creating management action plans for audit corrective action plan (CAPs). You will collaborate with internal audit teams and assist in developing action plans to address audit findings and ensure timely resolution.
3. Partnering with the first line of defense and leading proactive assessments to identify gaps in business-critical applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to assess the security posture of applications, identify vulnerabilities or weaknesses, and recommend remediation measures.
4. Utilizing your experience in conducting risk assessments and reporting. You will assess the potential risks to our systems and data, prioritize them based on their impact, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
5. Having experience in ServiceNow GRC, policy and compliance management, and operational technology (OT) will be an added advantage.
You will leverage your knowledge of these areas to enhance our cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your work will contribute to the overall security posture of the company and help protect against emerging cyber threats.

- Experience in conducting risk assessments and reporting.
- Experience in ServiceNow GRC, policy and compliance management, and operational technology (OT) knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets and infrastructure.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and respond to security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, and provide guidance on security best practices.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on advanced cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
WE VALUE
- Master's degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) security.
