OVERVIEW
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

THE POSITION
Join an organization that demonstrates a proactive health and safety managementsystem, combined with strong employee engagement and an environment that fostercontinuous improvement. This is a key role on the corporate ESS HSE ProcessSafety Group.
In this position, you will be a process safety professionalin the Health Safety & Environment (HSE) function in the Energy &Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business group. You will enable successful process safety performanceand operational excellence across the enterprise and specifically at theGeismar, Louisiana site. You will accomplish this by collaborating with theprocess safety network and establishing strong working relationships with theemployees at the site. You will be a key process safety resource byimplementing sustainable programs through integration of process safety bestpractices and continuous improvement of the process safety management program.
This position reports directly to the ESS Director of Process Safety and will be local to our site in Geismar, LA on a Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days at home).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws andregulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or haveasylum or refugee status in the U.S.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Safety Management (PSM):
- Develop and maintain Process Safety Management programs in compliance withregulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of chemical processes to proactivelyidentify potential process safety risks.
- Analyze data from process safety metrics and incident reports to improve PSMpractices.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis:
- Implement hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), layer of protectionanalysis (LOPA) and quantitative risk assessments (QRA) to identify high-riskareas.
- Develop and implement process hazards analysis(PHA) recommendations to reduce risk and improve operational reliability.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting:
- Lead incident learning / investigations of process safety events, loss ofcontainment, and near-miss events to identify root causes and recommend sustainablecorrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendationsfor management review.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regardingchemical safety and environmental impact.
- Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and guidelines, and adjust PSMprograms accordingly.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on internal processsafety standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Mentor young professionals and personnel in PSM methodologies and compliancestandards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with site and corporate operations, engineering, and maintenanceteams to enhance process safety awareness and practices across all levels ofthe organization.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote a safety-first culture withinthe organization.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of process safetyperformance and overall operational excellence.
- Utilize technical expertise and industry knowledge to propose innovativesolutions to safety challenges.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 5-10 years of experience with Process Safety and Risk Management
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP
- Familiarity with data analytics and key performance indicators
- Familiarity with human performance / human factors
- Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) certification
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Certification
- Exposure to Honeywell Operating System
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Good English communication
- Proficiency in HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, and QRA
- Familiarity with PHAST, SaferOne
- Strong team leadership and project managementcapabilities
