About the Role
Airswift is seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team. The Measurement Technician is responsible for the accurate measurement of physical quantities in Oil and Gas operations. Working alongside engineers, technicians, and other professionals, you will ensure measurement accuracy, reliability, and consistency across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Oil and Gas Allocation and Custody Transfer measurements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for LACT meter proving, Sales Gas meter calibration, and Oil & Gas sampling.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot single-phase metering systems, including positive displacement, helical turbine, orifice, and v-cone meters.
- Utilize Windows-based programs such as OMNICOM, PCCU32, and Mon 2000 for measurement-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of measurements, calibration records, and test results.
- Work in various environments, including ability to travel to offshore locations and heavy equipment areas.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience or training in Oil and Gas Allocation and Custody Transfer measurement systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to liquid and gas meter operation, calibration, and sampling.
- Experience in troubleshooting and testing Oil and Gas measurement equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and work in variable environmental conditions.
Education Requirements
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
