Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in North America. You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create solutions that meet business needs. • Implement and maintain software tools, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure tools function correctly and efficiently, providing ongoing support and improvements. • Identifies potential risks in the bids, quotations, estimates, and related contract agreements across customers/channels. • Formulates competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation. • Creates well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineer or Technical Field.
• 4+ years of experience in Electrical Industry.
• Knowledge in medium voltage equipment such as breakers, current transformers, relays etc.
• Experience in US Market Bids.
• Experience creating and maintaining tools to optimize sales support process.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
