Your role and responsibilities

This position ensures system applications work reliably, serves its users, and remains fit for purpose for supported business processes to deliver value to the organization. Accountable for application changes, technical run time support, application security and compliance, in line with external and internal regulations. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid Work Location: Tremezzina (CO) You will be mainly accountable for: • Application development, run, and maintenance. Application master data management. • Ensuring alignment of application with business strategy and needs. • Performance management, adoption, and continuous improvement of the application. • Driving smaller projects for the system when needed. Performing and ensuring business impact analysis to identify the business criticality of the application and ensure relevant service continuity. • Acting as first point of contact for owned application and manages key application stakeholders. Handling Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and other application documentation according to ABB standards. • Coordinating and gathering information for strategy decisions in alignment with business requirements. Effective planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering applications within time and resource constraints. • Ensuring adherence to corporate IS policies and procedures, as well as to internal regulations and external legislation for the given application job (i.e., segregation of duties, data privacy, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), export trade control, etc.), and ensures effective control implementation and periodic reviews as needed. • Ensuring up-to-date and accurate User Access Rights Management (UAM), including completion of the periodic review of access rights. You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • Highly skilled in programming version control and code management. Database knowledge, SQL or similar solution and experience in Application management is a plus.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in lifecycle management of a system.
  • You are qualified in working in Agile formats, such as SCRUM or Kanban. Experience in high level coding in configurator tools such as Camos or equivalent is a plus.
  • You are passionate about collaboration, problem solving and possess a good communication skills.
  • Degree in engineering field, or similar experience
  • You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
