Job Description:
Screen the stat-of-art heating/cooling technologies across HVAC, MAC and E-cooling industries;
Identify, initiate and manage new projects for business growth by working closely with the commercial and technology teams and the industry;
Participates in customer engagements to understand and analyze market needs. Generate and execute the proof-of-concept plans to quick verify technical feasibility.
Well cross-functions communications on projects;
Collect information of competitors, end users and industries, monitor technology trends and make analysis/proposals for counteraction.
Ensure the R&D design incorporate into flow of downstream application and technical market developments and related trends.
Design and conduct lab experiments to formulate new products. Lead the necessary internal and external communications to build technology platform for new product exploration.
Work with global / local commercial and production team on product development and customer support activities
Publish achievable paper and patents related refrigerant research and application;
Problem solving for customers.
Ensure all work is carried out under Honeywell HSE policy;Master or above in Refrigeration, Cryogenics Engineering, electronics materials, electronics, polymer, materials, chemistry, electrochemistry, polymer, organic chemistry, applied chemistry or related.
Minimum 3 years of experience in new material research and development, experience in related industry would be preferred.
Strong model-based design capability.
