As aSr. Quality Engineer Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical rolein developing and implementing quality strategies aligned with company goals, ensuringconsistency across multiple locations and delivering quality products. You willbe responsible for implementing quality control processes, conducting audits,and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in qualityengineering will contribute to the success and reputation of Honeywell as aglobal technology leader.
You will report directly to IAQuality Engineering Director, and you'll work out of Switzerland location ona hybrid work schedule. In this role, youwill impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that thequality strategies you implement will meet customer requirements and complywith industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentify systematic quality issues, implement corrective actions, and driveprocess improvements.
Asa Sr Quality Engineer Manager at Honeywell, you will be a part of a team of theQuality Leadership team within the HSS SBU and the global business ofIndustrial Automation. This rolerequires the person to apply their expertise and knowledge in findinginnovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuousimprovements. You will drive global initiatives that ensure compliancewith customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations,and engineering specifications while instilling site accountabilityfor governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and productquality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy Implementation:
Developsand implements regional quality strategies aligned with company goals, ensuringconsistency across multiple locations.
Quality Assurance:
Monitorsand ensures adherence to quality policies, standards, and procedures within theregion.
Continuous Improvement:
Identifiesareas for improvement and implements initiatives to enhance quality processesand outcomes.
Team Leadership:
Leads and mentors' quality teams, providing guidance and support to ensureeffective performance.
Problem Solving:
Leadscross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
Supplier Management:
Conductssupplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Data Analysis:
Analyzesdata to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
Communication:
Communicateseffectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers andsuppliers.
Compliance:
Ensurescompliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Training:
Providestraining and support to employees on quality procedures and best practices.
BasicQualifications:
Technical degree
> 8 yrs of experience as Quality professional
Lead Auditor certification and experience
ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, and AS9100 experience
Product Certification experience
Regulatory experience
APQA experience
Out-of-the-box thinking
Provide clear and concise communications
Greenbelt Certified
Proficient computer skills
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Ability to partner with others on projects
Understanding of quality processes
Preferred Qualification:
Comprehension and practical application of risk assessments
Experience certifying new products, working with global regulatory agencies, test labs, etc.
Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
