Your role and responsibilities
As a Commercialization Manager, you will drive strategic commercialization activities within Process Automation's Process Control Platform (PCP), leading and facilitating the introduction of new offerings and products into the market with strong business acumen. This includes refining the current offering, introducing new business models, and updating or changing commercialization tools and processes as needed to deliver on the strategy. The introduction of the ABB Automation Vision into our products and services creates both a need and an opportunity to review and update our commercial strategies and models - for example, by increasing the share of software product sales and introducing subscription-based business models. A full understanding of the commercial processes and tools used in the Process Automation sales and order processes - particularly those related to PCP products - is essential, along with a solid grasp of product financial models. Cross-functional collaboration with other functions is critical to the success of this role, including: - PCP and Customer Divisions (Energy and Process Industries, Marine & Ports), Product (Line) Managers: supporting the commercialization of new offerings and products: - Customer Division Commercial Teams (e.g., pricing): Acting as the main PCP contact to align and drive commercial initiatives, particularly those related to ABB's Automation Vision - Controlling and relevant parts of PCP Operations Main Accountabilities / Responsibilities: - Actively contribute to commercialization activities to enable new offerings and products within PCP commercial processes and tools, in close collaboration with Product Managers - Bridge and form a holistic view of commercialization activities in close alignment with productization topics - Initiate PCP-specific price decisions for offerings/products when needed - Propose and analyze new business models and updated product financial models; lead their implementation - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of both existing and new products, and make data-driven decisions - In addition, you will maintain and enable sales figure reporting for the PCP product portfolio and drive the reporting processes for both internal and external stakeholders, as required.

Qualifications for the role
- To be successful in this role, you bring a strong, holistic understanding of the Process Automation business within ABB - its structure, economic drivers, customer needs, evolving market trends, and the competitive landscape. You will be responsible for applying your sharp business and commercial acumen to shape and drive strategic decisions. Your ability to analyze market data, sales figures, and customer feedback will be key to informing impactful commercialization strategies. You are accountable for communicating ideas and initiatives with clarity and consistency to a wide range of stakeholders, and you lead cross-functional teams with confidence and purpose. With a strong sense of critical thinking and adaptability, you are comfortable navigating changing business conditions. Your fluency in English, both written and spoken, allows you to operate seamlessly in a global environment.
