An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Piping Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate site activities for a major project. This role requires a proactive professional to manage contractor performance, ensure safety compliance, and drive efficiency in piping and mechanical construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to contractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate activities with other superintendents and contractors to optimize productivity.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with discipline specifications.
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify adherence to industry codes and standards.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) culture on site.
• Assess contractor capabilities, procedures, staffing, and work processes throughout the construction phase.
• Evaluate and approve method statements to ensure controlled and productive execution of work.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and work rules to maintain high-quality project execution.
• Support the Permit to Work (PTW) system operations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all industry regulations and project standards.
• Attend contractor and construction meetings as required.
• Maintain daily logs and reports on construction activities.
• Oversee and ensure the proper functioning of contractor temporary facilities.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of German piping and mechanical industry standards, codes, and specifications.
• Monitor and inspect piping and mechanical works to uphold project quality.
• Effectively coordinate work areas for multiple contractors.
• Exhibit leadership skills, taking initiative with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
