Region APC > Customer Project Execution - APAC

Installation & Commissioning department is responsible to work closely with the Project teams, and Customers to carry out the project as per the plan. The team is responsible to deliver projects across Onshore & Offshore and different types of projects that Vestas signs, including EPC, Supervise & Install, Supply & Supervise.

Working closely with the Project Management Team, Procurement, Global Construction, Technology, Service teams, People & Culture, other support functions during project progression, the department will be responsible to finalize the projects in line with the plan from the Project Management teams across APAC.

Responsibilities

Overseeing a team of Leaders, responsible for resourcing, organizing and controlling resources (people, process, timeline) to complete project requirements meeting business needs within scope, quality and budget.

Typical responsibilities may include but not limited to:
  • Resourcing strategy to meet the demands for Construction
  • Developing and implementing resourcing strategies
  • Closely working with Procurement and external vendors, reduce cost out on external workforce cost
  • Processes/systems/practices/changes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality
  • Working with Project leadership with scope and ensure the projected outcome is realized by analysis and mitigating risk
  • Organizing Resource planning for Construction sites and ensuring critical areas are addressed.
  • Directing a team of experienced leaders, able to navigate complex people issues and leading by intent
  • Managing Senior Stakeholders across Region & Vestas Global, establish value chain involvement, and build trust
  • Organizing to prepare the team to deal with complex projects, new markets, new products and navigate through Onshore & Offshore projects
  • Compliance to processes, tools, systems, standards, data and governance and sustainability


Qualifications
  • Any Engineering degree or similar qualifications will be ok.
  • Experience of managing large teams across Geographies, understands how the APAC markets operates.
  • 12 years of experience, 5 years of leadership experience, from Construction / wind business.

  • Having experience with a full understanding in Construction, Wind business
  • Implementing effective application of knowledge in the organization. Providing detailed and specific advice on its application. Has a proficient understanding of generic, domain and specialist knowledge. Clearly explaining facts, practices, policies to others within the organization or to external parties
  • Taking action to ensure own knowledge and development. Ensuring the quality of own work and the work of others in the team
  • Applying practical skills to perform a range of sometimes complex and non-routine work activities to improve, change or adapt existing methods and ways of working.
  • Resolving a wide range of specific issues effectively seeking needed collaboration, collaborating with people across value chain.
  • Is skilled in exchanging insights to reach common understanding with a willingness to adjust. Sharing and communicating knowledge and innovation
  • Planning own work, ensuring time for the team members and able to guide the leaders in the organization.
  • Experience of working with minimal guidance, able to manage Senior stakeholders across value chain.
  • Using discretion in identifying and responding to tasks and assignments
  • Exercising judgement, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve problems
