We are seeking experienced and highly motivated HVAC Start Up Technicians to join our team in the Residential New Home Construction industry. As an HVAC Start Up Technician, you will be responsible for helping HVAC Service Technicians with installing, maintaining, and servicing HVAC systems for newly constructed homes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the HVAC systems are properly installed, functioning efficiently, and meet industry standards, local codes, and customer expectations.

- Piping and refrigeration line installation
- Thermostat and control system setup
- Maintenance & Servicing
- Routine inspections and tune-ups
- Cleaning and replacing air filters
- Checking refrigerant levels and recharging
- Duct repairing and sealing
- Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Diagnosing system malfunctions
- Repairing or replacing compressors, fans, motors, and electrical components
- Fixing refrigerant leaks and recharging systems
- Addressing airflow and efficiency issues
- System Design & Engineering
- Load calculations for proper system sizing/Manual D & J
- Designing ductwork and ventilation layouts
- Compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Smart & Energy-Efficient Systems
- Smart thermostats and automation
- HVAC zoning and energy management
- Compliance & Safety
- EPA refrigerant handling certification/TDLR certification
- Compliance with ASHRAE and local building codes
- Proper ventilation for indoor air quality

Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on residential new construction.
- EPA refrigerant handling certification/TDLR certification
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to interact with homeowners, contractors, and other team members.
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
