Your role and responsibilities
ABB is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for its Metering & Midwest electrical products portfolio including ReliaMod portfolio, Horizontal and Single socket metering, in addition to Midwest Electric Products for the US market. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the product marketing strategy to meet business objectives in agreement with the global product strategy. Successful candidate will assume accountability and ownership for the respective product portfolio, oversee all marketing activities, promotion, and support the Front-End Sales (FES) organization in driving revenue of respective products. Candidates must be experienced in creation and management of relationships with key customers and external influencers. Indirect leadership of a cross-functional execution team will be a key component to achieving objectives in this role. This position can be full-remote or based out of Cary, North Carolina. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: • Strategy: Creates, plans, and ensures implementation of the US go-to market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accord-ance with the global product marketing strategy. • Targets: Ensures achievement of product marketing targets and budgets through regular over-sight, definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed. • Business Planning: Develops and implements annual marketing plans in conjunction with US customer experience and communication teams. Prepares business plans focused on business development for a defined market. • Market Analysis: Coordinates with cross functional and cross division product marketing and sales team members to define appropriate forecasts and plans. Collects, evaluates, and shares customer research, market conditions and competitive data, with a focus on lead times, specification acceptance, and pricing.

Qualifications for the role
- BS/BA required. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales/marketing/product management/product marketing or relevant industry required
- Six Sigma or equivalent training in process and quality assurance methodology preferred
- Experience with customer relations via service, visits, relationships, etc. preferred
- Ability to perform competitive analysis required.
- Ability to travel (less than 10%) as needed.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
