Market Development Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive growth and customer success by providing expert & professional support on Medium Voltage Solutions; understand customer challenges and aligning them with ABB's portfolio. Build long term customer relationships and identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division of ABB, Philippines You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing and executing strategies to achieve pipe and order growth in the Medium Voltage business. • Conducting consultative discussions with customers to identify pain points and position ABB solutions effectively. • Creating plans for target audience visits and conducts regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits through Salesforce. • Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with consultants and design teams to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits. • Providing customer support by responding to technical questions and performing electrical calculations for the design institutes and technical consultants. • Communicating details with the target audience in accordance with ABB's offering and strategy. • Preparing and delivering technical presentations that fit customer requirements.

Qualifications for the role
- You are a tertiary or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
- Around 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the medium voltage sector
- You have experience working with utilities, data centers, semiconductor, renewables, and EPCs is a plus
- Possessed an advanced technical knowledge and commercial aspects of business.
- You are computer literate and competent in using SAP, MS Word and Excel, MS Project and Salesforce.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and propose tailored solutions
- You are at lease in communicating in English with good influencing and negotiation skills.
