Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the responsibility for implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business. Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. • Designs and implements plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets. • Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements. Supports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy. • Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. • Tracks the procurement processes and activities and creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards. Executes and implements new changes related to purchasing and logistics within their own area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role

• Full time bachelor's degree in mechanical/ electrical/ electronic engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Order Handling & Fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills internal+ external leadership. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
