Your role and responsibilities

The Mobility Analyst is responsible for managing ABB's US/PR inbound immigration process including overall responsibilities for VISA application and renewal processes. This role will partner with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition, ABB employees, internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all steps of the inbound immigration process are completed timely and legally compliant manner. This role will additionally work with ABB's external vendors and hiring managers to coordinate activities associated with the domestic relocation program. The Mobility Analyst will work with external vendors to obtain estimates for relocation, work hiring managers to determine program eligibility and serve as a point of contact for relocating employees escalated concerns. The work model for the role is hybrid (#LI-Hybrid) out of the Cary, NC office. You will be mainly accountable for: - Managing the ABB US/PR inbound immigration and VISA programs. - Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure US based ex-patriot employees are in full legal compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations - Coordinating with external vendors to coordinate ABBs internal mobility program - Liaison with multiple locations process executors for inbound immigration and domestic relocation programs

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in Immigration support or equivalent combination of education and relevant HR operations experience
  • Must have 2 years of experience managing inbound US immigration cases
  • Experience working with various HR stakeholders such as payroll operations, Talent Acquisition and HR Support Services employees.
  • Deep knowledge of legal and compliance requirements regarding US immigration programs.
  • Able to prepare, present, and lead project workshops and/or VISA application kick off meetings to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be a structured thinker with the ability to resolve problems at hand efficiently and able to work independently and as a collaborative team member
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
