The Guide / Caretaker will report to the Stony Island Managers and golf course superintendent. Job Hourly Pay: $30.64

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assist with maintenance of the 9-hole golf course.
• Maintenance of grounds, vessels, facilities, and equipment.
• Safe transport of staff, guests, and supplies to and from the Island by boat. (approx. 10-mile boat ride).
• Guiding guests and dogs, in a safe professional manner. (approximately 10 miles of walking per day for ten weeks.)
• Staying overnight for maintenance and security purposes.

Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• High school diploma
• Good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of vessels, trolling equipment, and firearms
• Ability to provide Professional, Courteous guest services

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 plus years working on vessels in the Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario
• OUPV 6 Passenger License
• Ability to work independently performing job functions without extensive supervision
• Proficiency with Outlook, and basic communications devices
