IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Primary responsibilities involve but is not limited to lead and implement factory automation and digitization projects in the European World Area including internal projects as well as Emerson directed programs.
You will research and recommend tools and deployment strategies targeted at increasing efficiency, consistency and leverage in the organization. These programs will be coordinated to form a customer focused strategy to support growth, improve customer focus, reduce lead times, increase delivery performance and optimize internal processes. You will understand complex business environments and create actionable projects intended to result in a Flow Control competitive advantage.
As Factory Automation Manager you will be responsible to promote the importance of automation and digitization; also, you will implement processes aligned with European automation initiatives. In this role your communication will be critical, you will need to engage with various levels of European leadership, establish a relationship based on trust and become the advisor of and the go-to person in various automation related topics.
Understanding complex business operations as well as local specifications is crucial; you must be able to disseminate information to executive management effectively.
Leveraging knowledge and training employees is going to be part of your scope, in terms of tools and process changes as well as driving cultural change.
WHO YOU ARE:
Key person possessing the ability to understand business needs, see the whole picture and communicate effectively to convey a clear understanding of the outstanding needs of different audiences. Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills are essential, just like resilience and adaptability. Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances. Self- driven personality with high attention to detail required.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical field
• Altogether minimum 10 years of experience in key functional roles such as operations, supply chain, engineering, product planning, sales/marketing, S&OP leadership
